Christian Milford Ortiz is a senior at the University of Miami studying History and Political Science with a minor in Chinese. He claims both South Florida and Mexico City as home. Upon graduation, he plans on attending graduate school to obtain a Master of Arts in History, then subsequently attend law school to obtain his J.D. to achieve his goal of becoming an immigration lawyer. His academic interests include the Soviet impact on left-wing movements in Latin America, especially in Mexico.
