Erik Gonzalez is an Undergraduate at the University of Illinois at Chicago pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Moving Image Arts and Russian Studies. This student enjoys learning the effects of culture in regards to a nation's identity. Gonzalez is working on a thesis with Professor Sara Hall of UIC as well as a research project investigating the effects of colonialism in the Latin American movie industry.
