Kristie Moore is an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley studying Global Studies with concentrations in Peace and Conflict studies and Europe/Russia. Her academic interests include borders, national identity, ethnic violence, conflict, and multiculturalism in Central Asia and the South Caucasus. She is an alumna of the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) and Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) programs for the study of Russian. In the future, she hopes to work in the field of mass atrocity prevention and conflict resolution in the post-Soviet space.
