Leah Peterson, a sophomore at Howard University, is pursuing a degree in Economics with a minor in Community Development. Her academic interests lie in exploring the intersections of culture, education development, and conflict within disenfranchised communities, particularly in the Post-Soviet space. Following graduation, Leah aspires to pursue a JD/PhD program. In her leisure time, she indulges in writing poetry, listening to music, volunteering, and exploring the vibrant city of D.C.
