Ricardo Montiel is a senior at San Diego State University with a double major in Communication and Russian. He is interested in Eastern European fairy tales, folklore and poetry and their significance in a country’s culture. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, Ricardo plans to attend a graduate program and study the role of fairy tales in Russian-speaking countries and their influence. His interests include reading about 20th century German art, Russian poetry, and learning new languages.
