Lab
Tori Vestal is a sophomore studying Foreign Languages & International Economics at the University of Kentucky. She studies all five UN official languages (Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian, & Chinese) and is a member of the American Translators Association & National Language Service Corps. On campus, Tori leads the University of Kentucky’s Model United Nations Organization and conducts research in global health and translation in the European Union. She is also an undergraduate researcher and editorial assistant for work on Russia, China, and US relations. She is ebullient and appreciative of the opportunity to engage in research about state-funded global messaging between the US and Russia for the Lab program.
